Inner Alchemy

The journey of the inner alchemist is little different then that of the external one. To transform and transmute the more base elements; the fearful thoughts, negative emotions, and bodily limitations of our beings, into more refined and subtle states. The classic movement from lead into gold. This seems to be no simple task. The practitioner must be prepared to face not only all of the fear that he or she has managed to store in this life time. But the collective fears that we as humanity have stored for all of our lifetimes. This is the challenge of the alchemist. Insurmountable you say? Not really. All we must do is allow life to unfold. So simple really. Of course perception will challenge our abilities to remain calm in the face of life's obstacles. To offset this reality we practice. The internal organs are the storehouses of the stresses of life. Gaining a solid understanding and feeling of the organs can be an ideal place to begin transformation. It is in the more subtle parts of the organs that the emotions are said to reside.
